Qatar Participates in Architectural and Urban Heritage Observatory in Arab States Meeting in Algeria

Algiers, November 24 (QNA) - The State of Qatar participated in the seventh meeting of the Architectural and Urban Heritage Observatory in the Arab States hosted by Algeria with the participation of ambassadors, diplomats, and experts from 22 countries.
At the meeting, the State of Qatar was represented by the Counselor at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Algeria Saeed Dhafer Al Qahtani and the Director of Cultural Heritage Conservation at Qatar Museums and liaison officer for the Architectural and Urban Heritage Observatory in the Arab States, Adel Abdullatif Al Moslamani.
The Architectural and Urban Heritage Observatory in the Arab States is a mechanism of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). Established in 2016, it aims to preserve the architectural heritage in the Arab countries, protecting it from extinction and reviving and developing it to be the focus of sustainable urban development in the Arab region.
