Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra to Organize Concert on Wednesday

Doha, December 05 (QNA) - The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra announced today that it will organize a concert on Wednesday in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.

The orchestra said in a statement that the concert will be organized in the open air in the heart of Doha (Al Bidda Park), under the leadership of the orchestra conductor, Johannes Vogel.

The musicians of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a selection of the most famous football songs such as Shakira's "Waka Waka", "Queen - We Are the Champions" and the traditional Qatari football song "Come on, come on" and many more.

Through these ceremonies, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, which is a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), supports the Foundation's mission to promote the heritage and culture of Qatar and the Arab world as well as to promote social participation.

The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra promotes Western and Arabic music to inspire children and adults in Qatar and the Arab world to create and enjoy music.
