Doha, December 07 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.
Following the meeting, HE Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs issued the following statement: The Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows:
First - The Cabinet approved a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No. 24 of 2006 by issuing a law (system) regulating the fertilizers and agricultural soil conditioners in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and referred it to the Shura Council.
The amendment aims to reinforcing of the penalty on the infringement of certain provisions of the act.
Second - The Cabinet reviewed the memorandum of the General Secretariat of the Shura Council, on the expression of interest, in the aspects associated with marriage and the views of the related concerned authorities in this matter, and took the appropriate decision regarding this issue.
Third - The Cabinet reviewed the following two topics and took the appropriate decision:
1- The findings report of the Protect Competition and Prevent Monopolistic Practices' Committee.
2- Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) consolidated and audited financial statements.
