Moscow, January 15 (QNA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Sunday that the dynamics of the special military operation in Ukraine are positive and everything is developing within a plan of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff.
"The dynamics are positive. Everything is developing within the plan of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff. And I hope that our fighters will please us more than once again with the results of their combat work," Putin said, answering questions from journalist Pavel Zarubin.
On Friday, Russia claimed that Soledar, a town in east Ukraine, has been captured by its forces, in what can be considered a rare success for the Russian military after facing battlefield reverses for months. (QNA)
