Palestinian Child Seriously Wounded as Occupation Forces Storm Deheisheh Camp

Occupied Jerusalem, January 16 (QNA) - A child was critically injured during an Israeli army assault on Deheisheh refugee camp in the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Palestinian security sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that a large Israeli army unit raided Deheisheh camp and searched homes.
During the raid, confrontations erupted between camp and the occupation soldiers who replied by firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the youths shooting a child with a live bullet in the head.
The child was rushed to hospital where he was reported in critical condition.
The soldiers left the camp after detaining a 24-year-old youth following a raid at his family home. (QNA)
