Amsterdam, January 16 (QNA) - Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands Wopke Hoekstra said that Ukraine needs more military aid and more weapons in order to confront the ongoing Russian military operation against it.
This came in his post on Twitter, after his conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.
"I expressed that the Netherlands will continue to step up to deliver what Ukraine needs to hold its ground on the battlefield, and more," Hoekstra said.
On Feb. 24, 2022, Russia launched what it called a "special military operation" in Ukraine, and it is ongoing without any signs of its imminent end, despite the widespread international condemnation and the unprecedented sanctions imposed by the West on Moscow. (QNA)
