Qatar Stock Exchange Index Decreased by 50 Points at Beginning of Tuesday's Trading

Doha, January 17 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange index decreased at the beginning of Tuesday's trading by 50.13 points, or 0.46 percent, to reach the level of 10791 points, compared to the closing of Monday's trading.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed that the bank and financial services sector increased by 2.11 percent and the real estate sector by 0.20 percent. On the other hand, the insurance sector decreased by 0.31 percent, the telecommunications sector by 0.33 percent, the transportation sector by 0.50 percent, the industries sector by 0.53 percent and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.91 percent.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth 76.984 million riyals, distributed among 24,873 shares, with the implementation of 2,532 transactions. (QNA)
