Ramallah, January 17 (QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the implementation of Netanyahu's government program in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem threatens to explode the conflict and the entire region.
The ministry added that this program reflects the arrogance of the ruling Israeli right-wing and Israel's disregard for international positions and demands calling for the end to all forms of escalation and illegal unilateral measures.
In a statement today, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the occupation forces and settlers' escalation of violations and attacks against the Palestinian people, acting above the law, due to their sense of being protected by the occupying power.
The statement said that the storming of the south of the occupied West Bank so-called Israeli minister of settlements and national missions Orit Strock and her statements in support of settlers encourage them to commit even more violations and attacks against Palestinian citizens, which confirms that Netanyahu's ruling right-wing coalition adopts the demands of settler associations and is implementing them in the land of the State of Palestine, by legalizing random outposts, expanding existing settlements, and planning out such actions, such is the case in the Nof Zion settlement on the lands of Jabal Mukaber in occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed that the international community has been accustomed to launching theoretical positions and expressing the rejection of Israeli occupation, settlements and violations, but that will not work with Netanyahu's extremist government and its racist expansionist colonial programs.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the UN Security Council to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards the suffering of the Palestinian people by translating its stances and words into action, and taking the necessary measures to ensure the implementation of and respect for the international legitimacy's resolutions.
