Jordanian King Receives Message from Japanese Prime Minister

Amman, January 17 (QNA) - Jordanian King Abdullah II received a message from Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, pertaining to bilateral relations between the two countries.

King Abdullah received the message during a meeting today with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Nishimura Yasutoshi.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest especially in the fields of economy, ICT capacity building, research and development.

Last December, the Japanese government provided a $110 million loan for the electricity sector reform program in Jordan to support the Jordanian government's efforts in promoting economic stability and development. (QNA)
