Saudi Stock Market Index Closed Lower

Riyadh, January 17 (QNA) - The main Saudi stock index closed today, down 45.55 points, to close at the level of 10682.90 points, with transactions worth 4 billion riyals.

The amount of shares traded in the Saudi stock market, according to the daily economic bulletin of the Saudi Press Agency, reached 146 million shares, divided into over 290,000 deals, in which the shares of 63 companies recorded an increase in their value, while the shares of 142 companies closed lower.

The Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) ended the day losing 51.70 points, to close at 19267.65 points, with a valuation of 16.5 million riyals and an overall tally of more than 280,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,517,000 deals. (QNA)
