Qatar Stock Exchange Drops 2.17 Percent

Doha, January 17 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 235.30 points, or 2.17 percent, to close trading at 10,606.7 points on Tuesday.

The volume of shares traded increased to 175,119,233 from 150,696,631 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR669,246,224.862 from QR538,384,363.744 on Monday.

The indices seven sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index dropped 2.17 percent to 21,725.96, QSE Al Rayan Islamic index lost 1.76 percent to 4,581.49 points and QSE All Share Index decreased 0.77 percent to 3,410.83 points. (QNA)
