Ankara, January 17 (QNA) - Turkish security authorities arrested 7 persons suspected to be affiliated with the ISIS in Yozgat Province, central Turkey.
Teams of the Counter-Terrorism Department in Yozgat Province launched a security operation within the efforts aimed at uncovering ISIS activities in the province, Turkey's Anadolu Agency said in a statement on Tuesday.
The teams carried out raid operations through which they detained 7 persons from Iraq and Syria on the charge of engaging in terrorist activities within the ISIS group, among them an execution officer in the group.
Substantial amount of documents related to ISIS had been seized during the operation, the statement added, adding that investigation teams are interrogating the suspects. (QNA)
