4 Militants Killed in Security Operation in Southwestern Pakistan


Islamabad, January 18 (QNA) - Four militants were killed during a security operation carried out by the Anti-Terrorism Department in Baluchistan province, southwestern Pakistan.

Radio Pakistan stated, according to a statement on Wednesday, that the security operation resulted in the killing of four militants, following a heavy exchange of fire in the Hoshab area located in the region. During the operation, a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also found.

The security forces and the army in Pakistan have been carrying out security operations in various regions of the country to hunt down armed groups. (QNA)
