Iraq to Take on Oman in Gulf 25 Final on Thursday

Basra, January 18 (QNA) - Hosts Iraq will face Oman in the 25th Gulf Cup final at Basra International Stadium on Thursday.
This is the second clash between both sides in this edition after their goalless tie in the group stage.
The three time champions Iraq advanced to the semi-finals after leading Group A with seven points ahead of Oman on goal difference. In the semi-finals, they defeated Qatar 2-1.
Oman, who are pursuing their third trophy after they were crowned champions in 2009 and 2017, reached the finale after beating Bahrain 1-0 in the semi-final. (QNA)
