Doha, January 19 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange index lost 34.07 points at the beginning of Thursday's trading, or 0.32 percent, to reach the level of 10552 points, compared to Wednesday's trading.
Data issued by Qatar Stock Exchange showed that the bank and financial services sector increased by 0.55 percent, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.45 percent, and the industries sector by 0.08 percent. On the other hand, the telecommunications sector decreased by 0.24 percent, the insurance sector by 0.28 percent, the transportation sector by 0.59 percent, and the real estate sector by 1.12 percent.
At 10:08 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 78.803 million, distributed among 35,585 shares, with the implementation of 2,843 transactions. (QNA)
