Davos, January 21 (QNA) - Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
During the meeting, they discussed the dossier of Iraqi refugees in the European Union (EU), in addition to ways to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as a number of international and regional issues of mutual concern.
The Iraqi Foreign Minister thanked his Austrian counterpart for reopening the Austrian embassy in Baghdad, and invited him to visit Iraq accompanied by Austrian businessmen and investors, to hold talks on strengthening cooperation between both countries, in light of the new Iraqi government's efforts to develop the country's infrastructure and economy.
For his part, the Austrian Foreign Minister expressed his country's desire to cooperate with Iraq on the topic of Iraqi refugee and to conclude an agreement between both countries in this regard. (QNA)
