Doha, January 24 (QNA) - The ministers of social affairs in GCC states convened a coordinative meeting in Doha on Tuesday, through which they discussed topics on the agenda of the 42nd meeting of Arab ministers of social affairs that will be held on Wednesday in Doha, in addition to topics related to the coordination file in the area of social development in the gulf region.
The State of Qatar's delegation to meeting was headed by HE Minister of Social Development and Family Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad.
Meanwhile, the 42nd meeting of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs will convene in Doha tomorrow.
The agenda of the meeting includes a myriad of critical topics, pertaining to areas of family, childhood, rights of persons with disabilities and elderly, eradication of poverty, social care and a range of other files. (QNA)
