Islamabad, June 04 (QNA) - Two Pakistani army personnel were killed during an exchange of fire with militants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province northwest Pakistan.
According to a statement issued by the army, an armed clash took place in the area of Jani Khel in the Bannu District, killing two soldiers as well as two other militants, Radio Pakistan reported.
On May 24, at least three military personnel were killed, and civilians were wounded in a suicide bombing targeting a security patrol in Pakistan's northwestern region of Waziristan.
Pakistani force have been working for years to eliminate armed groups in mountainous borders who launch attacks against security and civilians from time to time. (QNA)
