Qatar-UAE Super Cup: Al Arabi Beat Sharjah 1/0, Claim the First Title

Doha, April 12 (QNA) - Qatar's Al-Arabi have been crowned champions of the first edition of the Qatar-UAE Super Cup football tournament, following their 1/0 victory over UAE's Sharjah in the match that took place at the Al Thumama World Cup Stadium on Friday.

Al-Arabi's goal was scored by Tunisian striker, Youssef Msakni in the 58th minute of the match.

Al-Arabi, the holders of HH the Amir Cup title, with their coach Younis Ali, were able to gift their fans the first title this season.

HE Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee, and President of Qatar Football Association Jassim bin Rashid Al-Buainain, handed the trophy to Al-Arabi's captain Ahmed Fathi. (QNA)
