Doha, July 13 (QNA) - Al Wakrah announced Saturday the signing of Tunisian player Aissa Laidouni from Union Berlin.
According to the club's statement, Laidouni has officially joined the first football team for the upcoming 2024-2025 season with a four-year contract, ending in the summer of 2028.
The 28-year-old player began his career with Angers in France in 2014. He was loaned out from 2016 to 2018 to play for French clubs Les Herbiers and FC Chambly. He then joined Romanian team FC Voluntari from 2018 to 2020, followed by a stint with Hungarian side Ferencvarosi TC from 2020 to 2023, before moving to Union Berlin in Germany.
Internationally, Laidouni made his debut with the Tunisian national team during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya. He scored his first international goal against Zambia on Nov. 16, 2021, during the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers. (QNA)
