Kuwait, August 28 (QNA) - Wednesday's draw for the 39th Arab Men's Handball Club Championship, League, and Cup Champions placed Al Ahli SC in the first group and Al Gharafa SC in the second group.

Held in Kuwait from September 15 to 26, a total of 11 clubs will face off in two groups.

The first group includes Al Ahli SC (Qatar), Kuwait SC, Al Karkh SC (Iraq), Al Qatten SC (Yemen), Mudhar SC (Saudi Arabia), and Al Salmiya SC (Kuwait).

The second group is Al Gharafa SC (Qatar), National Bank of Egypt SC, Maliha (UAE), Al Qadsia SC (Kuwait), and Al Hashd SC (Iraq).

The top four teams in each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.

Kuwait SC won the title of the last edition of the championship in Saudi Arabia after defeating Egypt's Zamalek in the final (31-30).

Qatar's Al Rayyan SC won the title of the 21st edition held in Sharjah in 2000, while Al Gharafa SC won the 35th edition in Amman back in 2019. (QNA)
