Washington, September 16 (QNA) - Apple plans to unveil the first Mac computers with M4 processors and new low-cost iPads in the next few weeks.
Bloomberg reported that the MacBook Pro, iMac, and Mac Mini will be revealed, followed by the MacBook Air, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro, with M4 processors.
Apple is likely to introduce updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models featuring the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max processors.
The new iMac is expected to come with an update that brings the M4 chip and updates the Magic Keyboard, Mouse, and Trackpad from Lightning to USB-C.
The Mac mini is also expected to be updated with M4 and M4 Pro chips, and will be about the size of an Apple TV, with no USB-A ports.
The new iPad mini will feature improvements such as a faster chip, improved front and rear cameras, a fix for the Jelly scrolling screen issue, and support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
New lower-end iPads are also expected, including the iPad 11, and the MacBook Air with the M4 chip, in the first quarter of 2025, followed by a new Mac Studio in the middle of 2025, and a Mac Pro by the end of the same year. (QNA)
