Ramallah,December 14 (QNA) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has demanded for international effective measures to ramp up pressure on the Israeli designate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to ensure non-implementation of the policies of his far-right partners that go beyond the known traditional rules for conflict management.
In a statement Wednesday, the ministry said that legitimizing and implementing the Israeli extremists' stances primarily pose a direct threat to the security and stability of the region, pointing out that granting the power and authority to those entities in the Israeli government to carry out their colonial and racist ambitions in the occupied west bank, including the eastern Jerusalem, represents an official response from the occupation to the international demands, in the midst of the American caveats and concerns towards implementing the ideology and policy of the Israeli far-right entity in the occupied Palestinian territory, pointing out that the submission of what is known as "Homesh Law" through the support and initiative from the Likud members, foremost among them Netanyahu, is a compelling evidence of the next Israeli coalition's orientations on the acceleration of the settlement pace and legitimizing the random settlement outposts, and rebuilding the colonization in the abandoned outposts.
Commenting on the dangerous consequences of enacting these laws, the ministry underlined that it is awaiting the outcomes of enacting these racist and colonial laws with very grave concern, including their application on the ground, along with their repercussions on the opportunities of reviving the peace and negotiations process between the two sides, where the ministry conceives the clearest and broadest official Israeli invitation from these laws to escalate the situations on the conflict zone.
