Doha, March 22 (QNA) - Aspire Zone Foundation on Wednesday announced opening the registration for the Ramadan Sports Festival, slated to start on Mar. 28. The 12 days festival features eight activities in total that range from sports competitions to physical challenges.
Aspire Zone Foundation revealed the schedule and venues of the activities that begin at 9;30pm through midnight.
Al Bayt Stadium will host football competitions (men) from March 28 to April 8, and four-a-side football competitions (men) from March 28 to April 1 in five-a-side football pitch.
The Aspire Dome (Multi-purpose Hall 1) will host three-way basketball competitions (men) from March 29 to 30, and the table tennis competition for people with special needs on April 1, in cooperation with the Qatar Society for People with Special Needs.
The Ladies Sport Hall, in cooperation with the Sport Lab Academy, will host indoors football from March 28 to April 2, and 3X3 basketball from April 3 to 4, while the women's volleyball competition will be held from March 28 to April 2 in the volleyball hall in Aspire Dome.
