QNA Strengthens Cooperation Relations with Malaysian News Agency

Kuala Lumpur, May 25 (QNA) - HE Director-General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmed bin Saeed Al Rumaihi met on Thursday with CEO of the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Roslan Ariffin.

During the meeting, HE QNA Director-General said that there are old relationship with the Malaysian News Agency, and an agreement of cooperation and news exchange culminated in the signing of an advanced news system.

HE Al Rumaihi stressed that this visit comes to discuss broader horizons for partnership between the two sides, in a way that contributes to strengthening relations and means of cooperation between Qatar News Agency and its Malaysian counterpart.

The Director-General of Qatar News Agency also underlined the gains that will result from this media cooperation, especially in the field of news and information exchange and in benefiting both sides with media and technical experiences.

For his part, Bernama CEO said that the visit from the Qatari media delegation aims at strengthening the ongoing media cooperation between the two agencies.

Ariffin said that the media played an important role in establishing and maintaining diplomatic relations between the two countries, in addition to promoting business relations and economic cooperation. between the two countries.

Bernama and QNA can play a role in further strengthening community-related activities, knowledge development, and fostering ties between the two countries by exchanging news and photos, he added.

UXERA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bernama, has been supplying the news production system that uses the latest technologies to QNA in 2019.
