Eid Charity Launches Abdullah bin Nasser Al Kaabi Fund for Charitable Activities
Doha, February 08 (QNA) - Sheikh Eid Charity has launched Abdullah bin Nasser Al Kaabi fund for charitable activities in recognition of his charity work both inside and outside the country. General supervisor of the fund Fahd Jaham Al Kuwari expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who helped in establishing this fund, saying that it will target four areas, namely: cultural and education fields, social and needy families support, health and patients support and ongoing charity projects. He added these areas were the one which the late Abdullah Al Kaabi had participated and contributed. Ayed Al-Qahtani, Director General of Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah for Humanitarian Services (RAF), said that RAF had signed a partnership agreement with Sheikh Eid Charity for this fund, adding through this partnership RAF contributed QR500,000 - a donation from Qatari citizen - which will be used to establish a college for the Holy Quran studies in the Comoros and will also provide support to Quran centers in the same country. He extended his thanks and appreciation to HE Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al Khulaifi for facilitating the procedures to establish this endowment fund. (QNA)
