Abu Dhabi, November 24 (QNA) - Chairman of the Camel Race Organizing Committee HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Faisal Al-Thani praised today the achievements of Qatari camels, particularly Shahaniya ones, in the Fifth GCC Camel Race in Abu Dhabi.

The Qatari camels won the majority of the races held in the second day of the competition. His Excellency said that Shahaniya camels imposed themselves on the competition's leadership, adding that they are likely to bring the trophy home.

His Excellency stressed that Al Shahaniya only looks to win, so the results were no surprise. The Chairman of the Camel Race Organizing Committee acknowledged that the competition was fierce.

His Excellency maintained that reaching the top was an easy feat, the challenge was seeing it off to the end. (QNA)
