Doha, August 01 (QNA) - Al Gharafa announced Tuesday the signing of Khalid Abdulraouf on a two-year contract. The announcement came at a press conference attended by Al Gharafa director of football Mahmoud Al Ghazal, media coordinator Taha Al Muhaize and French coach Jean Fernandez. 

Al Ghazal said Abdulraouf is a valuable addition to the club. He added that Al Gharafa are in a transitional stage and they can not promise to win trophies at this phase. For his part, Abdulraouf expressed delight to sign for Al Gharafa, adding that he quickly consorted with the team. The player showed his keenness to help the club to return to winning ways. 

Al Gharafa have recently signed Yousef Muftah, Ahmed Alaaeldin and Abdelmajid Anad. As for foreign players, they have signed Chilean midfielder Luis Jimenez, Portuguese midfielder Diogo Amado and Venezuelan defender Rubert Quijada. (QNA)
