Doha, September 18 (QNA) - Qatar swimming team will leave for Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, on Tuesday to participate in the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

The Games kicked off Monday and will last till September 27.

The delegation included: Ibrahim Khalid Al Rumaihi, coach Omar Kheddache, Sverski Medlaka, Abdulaziz Hassan Al Obaidly, Abdelrahman Hesham Mohamed, Firas Binmourad Saidi, Mohammed Fahad Hussain, Mohamed Mahmoud Mohamed, Abdalla Mohamed Aboughazala and Naser Yaser Hassaan.

The Qatar swimming team had recently participated in the Asian Age Group Championship in the Uzbek capital Tashkent. They won the gold medal in the 1m springboard within the first day of the 9th Asian Age Group Championship in Uzbekistan. (QNA)
