QNB Holds Third Human Resources Conference

Doha, May 07 (QNA) - The QNB Group has recently held its third human resources conference in Doha.

The three-day event, which brought together QNB Human Resources officials across its international network, discussed various issues including: "Talent Management;" "Learning and Development;" International Disciplinary and Underperformance Guidance;""Human Resources Self-Assessment;" "Promotion in QNB;" and "Essentials of Compensation." The event affirms the Groups commitment to implementing global HR best practices and building high performance within its career development programs designed to attract and retain national talents by providing comprehensive training and development opportunities.

It also stresses the banks leading role in the fields of training and capacity development as part of its efforts to promote investment in human resources in implementation of Qatar National Vision 2030. QNB Group's human resources officials have stressed the importance of training and development programs being implemented according to the highest international standards as a key factor to achieve the banks goal to promoting investment in human capital.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdullah Nasser Al Khalifa, General Manager Group Human Capital,said: "QNB Group is keen to promote excellence and a competitive environment that will drive individual and collective performance to high levels of quality and creativity in support of its vision to become a leading bank in the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia by 2020." "Building up on the success of its two previous editions, this years conference underlines our commitment to human resource development as a key factor to support our career and human capital development training plans aimed at achieving sustainable development and confirming our leadership as an attractive environment for young Qatari talent," said Al Khalifa.
