Doha, September 12 (QNA) - Umm Salal Sport Club officially signed French Club Lorient player Arnold Mvuemba to join the team in this season before the end of the transfer deadline of the Qatari football league (QNB Stars League).

Umm Salal are seventh in the standings with four points.

Mvuemba, 33, signed the contract until the end of the season to replace Nigerian striker Christian Osaguona, who had joined them ahead of the start of 2018-19 season.

Osaguona played for Umm Salal briefly, but was mostly nursing an injury. So the club decided to end the association with him by mutual consent. His replacement is to be announced soon. (QNA)
