Dresden, August 25 (QNA) - Tens of thousands of Germans in Dresden, participated in a demonstration by the Alliance "Indivisible" for an open and solidary society last night. Participants in the demonstration raised slogans against the growing anti-Islamic movement "BEGIDA" in Germany in particular and in Europe in general. According to initial estimates, at least 35,000 people followed the call. In fact, a kilometer-long train of people crossed the city center. This demonstration comes amid fears that the right-wing "Alternative for Germany" party, which supports the "BEGIDA" movement will get more votes in State elections in Saxony and Brandenburg on September 1.
