Qatar, Guyana Sign Air Services Agreement

Montreal, Canada, September 25 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana signed Wednesday an air services agreement in the presence of HE Qatar's Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti and HE Chairman of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) Board Lawrence London, on the sidelines of the 40th Meeting of ICAO General Assembly, currently in session in Montreal, Canada. The agreement was signed by HE Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey and HE Director-General of GCAA Egbert Field. The agreement will permit Qatars national carrier, Qatar Airways, to operate any number of passenger and cargo flights as well as cooperation between the carriers concerned. The agreement will also permit Qatar Airways to have an operation center in Guyana to fly to any country in the region and the other regions. (QNA)
