Croatian Coach Ivankovic Takes Charge of Oman National Football Team

Muscat, January 19 (QNA) - Veteran Croat footballer Branko Ivankovic has been named the new coach of Omans national mens football team, following a meeting of the Oman Football Association (OFA) on Sunday. According to the Oman News Agency, "The Oman Football Association announces that it has reached an agreement with the Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic to oversee the training of our senior national football team." 65-year-old Ivankovic was the head coach of Irans national football team in 2002, after his success with their under-23 team that won the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea.
