Muhyiddin Yassin Takes Oath as Prime Minister of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, March 01 (QNA) - Muhyiddin Yassin took his oath of office as Prime Minister of Malaysia on Sunday morning to become the 8th Malaysian Prime Minister. Muhyiddin Yassin took his oath of office before Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah at Istana Negara, according to Malaysia's News Agency (Bernama). Mohiuddin, 72, heads the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU). His appointment followed the resignation of Dr. Mahathir Mohamad on February 24. (QNA)
