Tokyo Olympics 2020: Serbia Wins Men's Gold in Water Polo
Tokyo, August 08 (QNA) - Serbia won the last gold medal at the 32nd Summer Olympics (Tokyo 2020), which concludes today.
The Serbian national team won the gold medal in the men's water polo competition after defeating the Greek team 13/10 in the final.
Serbia finished the first quarter with a 6/3 lead, and the Greek team, which won the silver medal, was able to reduce the difference in the second quarter, which ended 8/7 for the Serbian team, maintaining their lead in the third quarter 10/9, before widening the difference in the fourth quarter 13/10.
This is Serbia's third gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after winning in Taekwondo and Karate for women, while Greece finished with two golds in men's rowing and long jump.
The Hungarian team won the bronze medal in the men's water polo competition by defeating the Spanish team 9-5.(QNA)
