Doha, October 24 (QNA) - The Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) unanimously elected on Sunday the Qatari Engineer Nasser Ahmed Al Meer (representative of businesspersons), as its President for a new edition, during the meeting held today by its Board in Doha, at the invitation of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI).
The Board of Directors also elected HE Iraqi Minister of Labor Dr. Adel Al Rikabi (representative of government group), and Yaqoob Yousif Mohammed from Bahrain (representative of labor group), as Vice Presidents of the Board of Directors.
During its first post-Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic meeting, the Board discussed the items on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions in their regard.
