Sudan's Transitional Sovereign Council Names Three New Ministers

Khartoum, February 01 (QNA) - The Transitional Sovereign Council in Sudan decided to name three new ministers in the current caretaker government.
The official spokeswoman for the Council Salma Abdul-Jabbar, said that the Council decided, in its meeting headed by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, to complete the positions in the caretaker government. The Council appointed Mahmoud Siral-Khatim Al-Houri as the acting Minister of Education, Mohamed Saeed Al-Hillu as the acting Minister of Justice and Hazar Abdul- Rasoul Al-Ajab as the acting Minister of Youth and Sports.
On January 20, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council in Sudan issued a decision assigning 15 new ministers.
On January 2, the former Sudanese Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok announced his official resignation, pointing out that the transitional government faced several challenges, most importantly, international isolation, corruption, and debt.(QNA)
