Ambassador of Slovenia Stresses Importance of President Pahor's Visit to Qatar

Doha, March 22 (QNA) - HE Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia (non-resident) to the State of Qatar Mateja Prevolsek highlighted the importance of the official visit of HE President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor to Qatar in strengthening and expanding the bilateral cooperation relations to broader horizons.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE the Ambassador said that the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Slovenia are excellent, and the visit of HE President Pahor to Doha will contribute to further developing these relations especially in the economic field.
She noted that HE the President will be accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking delegation includes the Minister for Infrastructure, the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Deputy Director of ITF, and the State Secretary/Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Important talks and discussions will be held during the visit aiming at developing and promoting prospects of the bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of enhancing human security.
HE the Ambassador of Slovenia added that the visit constitutes a great opportunity to discuss the bilateral relations and ways to strengthen the political and economic cooperation, in particular in economy and green transition; in addition to discussing the regional and international developments, especially in light of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
In conclusion, HE Ambassador Mateja Prevolsek emphasized the great status of the State of Qatar at the regional and international levels, praising the role that Qatar plays in managing crises and regional and international issues. (QNA)
