Ahmed Al Muraikhi Appointed as Special Adviser to UN Secretary-General on Public-Private Partnerships, Islamic Social Finance
Doha, April 18 (QNA) - HE Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres has appointed HE Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi as Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations on Public-Private Partnerships and Islamic Social Finance, at the rank of Under-Secretary-General.
HE Dr. Al Muraikhi has held the position of Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General since 2020. He also served as the UN Secretary-General's Special Humanitarian Envoy from Dec. 2016 to Dec. 2019.
HE Dr. Al Muraikhi owns a proven track record of experience in the diplomatic and humanitarian fields, as he held many positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other institutions within the country, before moving to work in the United Nations.(QNA)
