HH the Amir Chairs Second Meeting of Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment

Doha, June 14 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired on Tuesday morning the Council's second meeting in 2022 at the Amiri Diwan.
HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, Executive Member of the Council, and Their Excellencies members of the Council.
The Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made in the first meeting, and the project follow-up report. The Council also discussed the country's economic priorities and took appropriate decisions in their regard.
Also, the Council was briefed on the presentation on agriculture, livestock and fish production and the telecommunications and information technology sector, in addition to the presentation on the approvals of licensing requirements and commercial practices, the developments of the Qatar Financial Centre, and also the developments of QatarEnergy and Qatar Investment Authority.
The Council discussed the topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions in their regard. (QNA)
