9th Senior Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships Starts on Wednesday

Doha, June 14 (QNA) - The ninth edition of the Senior Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships will start on Wednesday at the Aspire Dome until June 18, with the participation of 137 gymnasts from 21 countries, including many world champions.
The first and second days of the tournament will be devoted to holding the qualifiers on various devices for men and women, while individuals will be held on the third and fourth days, where fierce competitions are expected between the participants for top honors at the event, which will be one of the qualify competitions for this year's FIG World Artistic Championships in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the Organizing Committee has announced readiness of the venue and other logistical matters related to the championships and the competition hall is being readied for the top competition as the Committee are putting in their best efforts to make this event successful.
The Doha edition is expected to be one of the strongest Asian Championships ever in presence of continents leading gymnasts, including several world champions. The event will see the participation of a huge number of gymnasts from all over Asia, plus an Arab participation from Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Qatar. (QNA)
