QRCS Approves Financial Statements for the Year 2021

Doha, June 14 (QNA) - Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) approved the financial statements for the year 2021, including the draft estimated general budget for the fiscal year 2022, during the society's meeting held in the presence of members of the Qatar Red Crescents board of directors, its executive leaders, the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA), Talal Abu Ghazaleh Organization & its International partners and external auditor.
In her speech during the meeting, HE Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatar Red Crescent, Dr. Aisha Yousef Al Mannai indicated that humanitarian work requires concerted efforts and determination, so that the Qatar Red Crescent continues to provide its vital services to the beneficiaries, by working to mobilize support from the people of Qatar, to carry out humanitarian projects and campaigns that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the needy people.
In his opening remarks at the meeting, HE Secretary-General of (QRCS) Ambassador Ali bin Hassan Al-Hammadi, expressed his great honor and privilege to the accomplishments of QRCS.
During the meeting, a presentation was given to a plethora of programs and activities that were accomplished during 2021, where the report of programs and activities indicated that the total number of beneficiaries at the local and international levels during the past year amounted to roughly 9.4 million beneficiaries, with a total budget that exceeded 314 million QR, while the number of external offices and missions is estimated to be 13 offices around the world.
