Bern, June 15 (QNA) - The Swiss air navigation service announced Wednesday morning the closure of the airspace and the suspension of take-offs and landings at airports until further notice.
An official at Zurich Airport stated that a technical issue in the air traffic control system caused the suspension of flights at the airport, in addition to a number of other airports.
Authorities at Geneva Airport said on Twitter that due to a computer malfunction, it will not be possible to land or take off.
Airport authorities are working on a solution and will provide an update when more information becomes available. (QNA)
