Iraqi Forces Arrest Two ISIS Militants

Baghdad, June 18 (QNA) - Iraqi security forces arrested two armed elements belonging to ISIS organization in the governorates of Nineveh and Salah al-Din in northern Iraq, as part of the qualitative operations carried out by intelligence elements to strike the organization's hideouts in various parts of Iraq.
Security Media Cell said, in a press statement today, that arrest warrants have been issued against the two persons who were arrested on charges related to the anti-terrorism law, as they participated in many armed attacks targeting security forces.
Meanwhile, a security source confirmed that a bombing targeted three areas deep in the Hamrin hills, north of Diyala Governorate, northeastern Iraq, noting that it was not yet clear whether the bombing was by warplanes or drones.
In another development, military Intelligence seized a car carrying weapons and missiles for ISIS members in Wadi Tharthar, west of Nineveh Governorate, which the gunmen were planning to use to target security forces.(QNA)
