Doha, June 19 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and the Republic of South Sudan signed Sunday an air services agreement.
The agreement was signed by Mohamed Faleh Alhajri, who is in charge of managing the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Capt. Subek David Dada, CEO of the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority, in the presence of HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti and HE South Sudan's Minister of Roads and Bridges and Acting Minister of Transport and Roads Simon Mijok Mijak.
The agreement comes in the context of connecting Qatar with more air services agreements that open airspaces for the national carrier to fly to more destinations around the world.
Following the signing ceremony, HE Minister of Transport and HE South Sudan's Minister of Roads and Bridges and Acting Minister of Transport and Roads discussed ways to enhance Qatari-South Sudanese ties in the fields of civil aviation, transportation and transportation services. (QNA)
