Moscow, June 19 (QNA) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that more than 50 Ukrainian generals and officers were killed in a Kalibr missile strike targeting a command center in the Ukrainian province of Dnipro.
Russian Defense Spokesman Igor Konashenkov was quoted by 'Russia Today' channel as saying in a press statement that during the past day, long-range, high-precision Kalibr missiles launched from the sea hit the headquarters of the Ukrainian forces near the village of Shyroka Dacha of the district at a time when a working meeting was held for the leaders of the Alexandria strategic operations group there.
The spokesman explained that as a result of the strike, more than 50 generals and officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed, including representatives of the General Staff, the leadership of the Kakhovka Group, the air attack forces and formations operating on the Mykolaiv and Zaporozhye axes.(QNA)
