/Qatar Economic Forum/ CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Praises HH the Amir's Speech During Forum Opening

Doha, June 21 (QNA) - HE Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah acknowledged the contents of the inaugural speech delivered by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani speech during the opening of Qatar Economic Forum 2022, Powered by Bloomberg in Doha.
He underscored in his statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of the forum that the themes addressed by His Highness the Amir's speech came at the appropriate time, similar to those related to the risks facing global trade, food security, inflation and the ensuing decisions raising interest rates to try and curb inflation.
His Excellency said that the forum was vital platform through which decision makers around the world can discuss global topics and issues that are extremely important, including achieving equality in the long-term global economic recovery, the future of global markets and prospects for globalization, ways of supporting global supply chains, and the transformations being witnessed by the energy sector, in addition to the green economy, and mechanisms dedicated to reducing carbon emissions.
The CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation stressed the importance of his country's cooperation with the Qatari side in the field of oil and gas. He confirmed that that he has discussed with HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, ways of boosting cooperation aspects in the oil and gas industry. He said that Kuwait is always looking for ways and means of cooperation with the state of Qatar, which is something not strange to the two countries. (QNA)
