Paris Saint-Germain kick off Japan Tour by Defeating Kawasaki
Tokyo, July 20 (QNA) - France's Paris Saint-Germain kicked off their Japanese tour with a 2-1 win over the Japanese Kawasaki Frontale team in a friendly match Wednesday at the National Stadium in Tokyo in front of 65 thousand spectators.
Paris Saint-Germain's Argentine Lionel Messi, Brazilian Neymar and Kylian Mbappe played the match as key players.
Saint-Germain dominated the game with Messi opening the scoring after 32 minutes following a shot from inside the area.
In the second half, Mbappe and Neymar came out, and the new coach Christophe Galtier involved several reserves before Messi left the field in the 62nd minute.
Arnaud Kalimuendo added the second goal in the 58th minute, and Kawasaki scored their only goal through Kazuya Yamamura six minutes before the end.
The match is the first of Paris' three encounters on the Japanese tour, where they will meet Urawa Red in Saitama next Saturday, and then Gamba Osaka in Osaka on Monday. (QNA)
