Al Khor Football Team Heads to Turkey for Preparatory Camp for New Football Season

Doha, August 01 (QNA) - Al Khor SC football team headed to Turkey to set up an external camp in Izmit city, which is set to continue until Aug. 18, 2022, in preparation for the new football season 2022-2023.
Khor Sports Club has already finalized the signing of the contracts with the Brazilian attacker Gustavo Costa, striker Ali Feridoun, Uzbek midfielder Kasimov, Brazilian striker Alvaro Vieira, and Senegalese defender of French origins, Modou Diani, as part of the club's efforts dedicated to strengthening the team ranks to return to the QNB Stars League.
Al Khor team was relegated to the second division last season after occupying 12th place with 16 points, equal to Al Sailiya. However, it fell behind on goals difference.
Qatar Football Association had set Aug. 26, 2022, as the date for the start of the 2022-2023 second division league season. (QNA)
